Potential Discovery offers a cutting edge business tool that is designed to help employees of any business develop the potential that is inside them, but that has been unused, probably since childhood.
The courses we offer are not the kind of ‘day away from the office’ that some others may be. Firstly, there has to be an agreement with the individual employee that he or she actually identifies with their own potential to improve and moreover, is prepared to engage in a process for real change.
We do not run workshops for observers. We run them solely for people who want to improve their own lives and the way that they interact within their career.
Few people function to their fullest possible potential. What would your business be like if your most valuable assets were to fully achieve the potential you at first hoped to see? What might life be like for you, personally to rediscover some of your own, long hidden abilities?
The 'Business' of Potential Discovery
When a business is at a loss to know how to improve it’s profit (sorry!), the answer so often lies not in what equipment or procedures or back-office programming is in place, but in the very people who implement these on a daily basis.
As the saying goes with computers, “You only get out the quality you put in.” The same is true of equipment, procedures and everything else in the business environment. All of these things have their own ‘fixed’ potential. It’s ‘manufactured in’.
In terms of Potential, the only real variable is of the human kind. Usually, we don’t see it utilised to its maximum effect.
Potential Discovery initially enables employers to engage in a free review of their key employees’ responses to previous training and development initiatives of a non-technical nature. (i.e. personal growth, assertiveness, self-esteem etc.)
The review enables a critical view to be expressed by the employee about whether such courses have been worthwhile personally or have been beneficial when applied in the workplace. (A suitable questionnaire is available under the 'downloads' tab.)
Employees are then asked, through specific questioning techniques, to evaluate their own behaviours at work. Where negativity shows up, they are invited to state whether or not they have a wish to remove such negativity from their workplace behaviour. Not every one will, and there will be some who cannot identify any at all, but those who do, and want to grow and improve are well worth the investment.
